NUSSU FOCC 2012 Recruitment
Hi Students,
Remember all the events that NUSSU organized when you were a freshman? Do you remember bonding with friends from different faculties in Union Camp, officially matriculating as a NUS student in Matriculation Fair, hearing the NUS anthem for the first time in Freshmen Inauguration Ceremony, asking for donations and cheering for your faculty in Rag and Flag, and lastly partying in the school sports hall in Project X?
These are the Freshmen Orientation Projects that NUS Students' Union organize every year, attended by students from every faculty and are the largest student- organised events in NUS. We hope to provide freshmen a smooth transition from pre-tertiary education platforms and NS to University life with these Freshmen Orientation Projects. Most importantly, we hope to leave long lasting memories of orientation with students as they proceed on with their University life.
With the diversity of Freshmen Orientation Projects, we believe that each student leader will find a Freshmen Orientation Project that interests him or her. The Freshmen Orientation Central Committee would like to invite you to participate in organizing these exciting projects.
Applications are now open for various key positions in the Freshmen Orientation Central Committee (FOCC) 2012. Positions available are:
- FOCC Secretary
- Union Camp Project Director
- Matriculation Fair Project Director
- Freshmen Inauguration Ceremony Project Director
- Rag Project Director
- Flag Project Director
- Project X Project Director
Once the various Project Directors have been appointed, they may proceed to form their organizing committee with the advice of FOCC Chairpersons. The application form is attached in this email.
Application period is from 21st October to 31st October 2011.
