NUSSU Computer Based Learning Centre (CBLC) is under the NUSSU family. As a service-oriented committee, the main objective of CBLC is to provide quality IT services to our student population.
NUSSU CBLC currently operates 2 computer centres in NUS, namely in
Yusoff Ishak House (YIH) and Central Library (CL). Both centres provide
NUS users with the much needed computer access and printing services.
Besides seeing to the day to day operations of our computer centres,
CBLC also organises various projects for the welfare of NUS students.
Some of our annual CBLC projects include: CBLC Training Project
(organising IT courses like Flash, Dreamweaver and Photoshop for
students), Cyberia Camp (highly popular 3 Days 2 Night camp in Dec that
incorporates IT courses with exciting outdoor games). Other exciting
projects which were held in the past include Recruitment Party,
Upgrading Fair and Shi Zhi Lu Kou.
As part of the CBLC family, CBLCians are often spoilt by choice when it
comes to outings and gatherings. Some of the activities which we enjoy
include movie-screening, birthday celebrations, buffet lunch / dinner,
food race, night cycling, gaming and BBQs.
