FOOD FESTIVAL 2012

The Food Festival is an event held annually by NUSSU Welfare which aims to provide more tangible welfare to NUS students through promotion and collecting feedback regarding the various kinds of cuisines available in the NUS campus. Food Festival hopes to bring together people of different ethnicities and backgrounds to celebrate a culture that is Food.

This year, we wish to bring about four mini projects as well as the main Food Festival under the theme of F-FACTOR. The theme encompasses the main objectives of the Food Festival of promotion and appreciation of NUS campus cuisine by engaging in the idea that ‘there is more to food that meets the eye’.

In the eyes of NUS food lovers, F stands for food, fun, festival, friends, ph(f)oto, fashion, Facebook, fibre(for a more balanced diet). In essence, everything about food! The letter ‘F’ includes all the elements of the Food Festival: Food we share and eat, Fun in the Festival , like-minded Food loving Friends, ph(F)oto competition, Fashion show with food, and the Facebook page which is a heaven for Fellow Food enthusiasts.
